Time Capsule

The Centennial Celebration Planning Task Force is currently inviting community groups, service organizations and schools to contribute an item for consideration of placement in the time capsule. Items should reflect the El Cerrito community’s contemporary daily life. Items proposed will be evaluated for inclusion in the time capsule. Interested community groups should contact Staff Liaison Suzanne Iarla at 215-4318 or via email for the time capsule guidelines and how to submit a proposal.

The Task Force will also offer journals at a number of City facilities that community members can write (or draw!) in. The journals will be placed in the time capsule. Check back soon for more details about the journals.

Save the Date of August 23, 2017 and plan to attend the time capsule dedication at City Hall.
