Master Fee Schedule

New fees go into effect on July 1st of each year. View or download the MASTER FEE SCHEDULE for the Recycling + Environmental Resource Center (PDF). Please review item #4 for a list of all fees and services.

DROP-OFF RECYCLING CENTER

The Center offers community members a convenient way to reduce their environmental footprint. The Center is a one-stop shop for reuse and recycling. It’s also the hub of El Cerrito’s environmental programs and activities, from energy efficiency and climate action to urban greening. As a LEED facility that features a zero-net energy building, recycled rain-water catchment, rain gardens, native plantings and reused building materials, the Center is a living model of sustainability.

IMPORTANT UPDATES: Starting Tuesday, July 6, 2021, the Exchange Zone and Admin Office will reopen. The Recycling Center will also begin accepting Styrofoam -- ONLY from El Cerrito residents, and ONLY on THURSDAYS. Proof of residency is required. Drive behind the facility just like for the HHW drop-off for the forklift operators to assist you. The Admin Office will also again accept fluorescent light bulbs, sharps, and pharmaceuticals from non-residents, for a fee.
